  1. Make-up Remover: Cleen Beauty Coconut Water Hibiscus Face Wipes

“[I start my skincare routine by] removing any make-up with these Cleen Beauty facial wipes. And I like them because they remove my make-up really well, and then they’re also biodegradable. I’m just going to be really gentle, and not rub too hard, especially around the eye area.”

  2. Cleanser: Kate Somerville Exfolikate Cleanser Daily Foaming Wash

“[This is] very gentle and it does its job. I have very sensitive skin, so I like using pretty gentle cleansers, and this is a good one. I use my middle and ring fingers to go in circular motions around my face. My mom always taught me to use these two fingers because they’re the most gentle, and you want to be gentle on your skin – it’s super delicate. I pat my face dry with a towel.”

  3. Exfoliant: Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant

“I feel like my skin is extra rough right now, and whenever I feel my face needs extra exfoliation, I like using this product. It’s a pretty gentle exfoliator – this is rice-based and it works really well. It leaves my skin super glowy and bright. I put a little dollop of powder on my hands, and once it mixes with water, it gets more creamy and paste-y. I rub it on my face for 30 seconds to a minute and exfoliate everywhere.”

  4. Toner: Thayers Alcohol-Free Witch Hazel Facial Toner

“Now that my skin is super smooth, I use a toner. I use a gauze pad to apply this to my face because i like how it soaks up all the product and you don’t end up wasting any product. This toner is really gentle, and it’s also really inexpensive – you can find it at any drugstore. I wipe down my whole face.”

  5. Eye Cream: La Mer The Eye Concentrate

“Next I use this La Mer eye cream. All of La Mer’s products are very hydrating and moisturizing. I’ve always noticed really good results with them. They’re a little expensive, but I would just recommend finding an eye cream that keeps your eye cream hydrated and moisturized.”

  6. Treatment: Tretinoin Cream 0.1%

“I get this prescribed by my dermatologist and it’s the highest percentage of Tretinoin you can use. I’ve been using this since I was in junior high. My mom has just always instilled all of my skincare habits and introduced me to this. I’m so happy I’ve been using this because basically what it does is it increases the metabolism of your skin cells, so your skin cells are rapidly exfoliating and turning over and it produced collagen. That’s really good for fine lines, wrinkles, and overall skin texture. When you first start using it, it’s going to make your skin really red and dry, but it will eventually get used to it and long-term be really good for your skin.”

  7. Face Oil: Sonya Dakar Organic Omega Booster Facial Oil

“This stuff is incredible because [contains] a bunch of omegas which are really good for your skin. It’s really hydrating. I put a couple dollops on my hand and pat it all over my face. I heard once that you’re supposed to look like a glazed donut before you go to bed because your skin should be so moisturized, and this is the part of my routine where I start looking like a glazed donut.”

  8. Moisturizer: Sunday Riley Ice Ceramide Moisturizing Cream

“I love all of [Sunday Riley’s] products, to be honest, and this one is my favorite. I feel like the consistency’s not too thick or thin, so I just use a little bit and pat it all over my face and neck. Keeping my skin really hydrated is probably one of the most important things.”
