  • Albolene-Moisturizing cleanser
    STEP
    1
    albolene moisturizing cleanser
    Super simple oil cleanse.
  • CeraVe-Hydrating Facial Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin
    STEP
    2
It's like washing your face with lotion!
  • The Ordinary-AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution
    STEP
    3
My skin is sensitive, so I have to be very careful with this. But I see instant, glowing results afterwards. It definitely tingles and stings, so I fan my face while I leave it on. I also start the timer for 10 minutes at the beginning of application, not the end. I apply it with one of those silicone skincare brushes.
  • The Ordinary-Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5
    STEP
    4
I use a good amount of this while my skin is still damp immediately following rinsing off the peel.
  • CeraVe-Moisturizing Cream
    STEP
    5
    cerave moisturizing cream
This is super thick, rich, and hydrating. I use it on both my face and body! Super important to use a rich moisturizer after a chemical peel.

How is the Albolene Moisturizing Cleanser? Is it actually an oil cleanser? I've never heard of it before.

Oooh, I just ordered The Ordinary's acid peel --good to know to be careful as I have sensitive skin too. I skipped a starter acid, but will proceed with caution :-)

I'm looking to purchase this too. Can you let us know how your experience goes? ๐Ÿ˜€

Hey there! How does the CeraVe cleanser and moisturising cream works on you?

Oh man the acid, so strong! How did you start using it, do you recommend a starter acid that would be fitting for a exfoliating newbie?

This is a great acid day routine!! I've heard the so many great things about the CeraVe moisturizing cream, I might just have to get it. Is it super thick?

For sure, I'd think of it as a "sour cream" consistency. My skin is so dry, it's just the right amount of moisture to get me through the night without dry patches showing through.

Good to know. As long as it's not like balmy, that kind of consistency takes me forever to rub into my skin...๐Ÿ˜‚

Thanks for the heads up on the strong acid! Do you like this one better than others you've tried? I want to start an acid but not sure if I should start with this one ๐Ÿคจ๐Ÿคจ

It's not the best starter acid! Lactic, glycolic, and salicylic acids are all great exfoliating acids you can get in smaller percentages from The Ordinary. It's definitely one of the most effective formulas out there but also one of the strongest you can get over the counter.
