The lapis oil i've found has been helpful for me the longest. As of right now, with experimenting, I do think the acid potion is making a difference.

this is such good insight! i recently stopped using a jojoba and coffee bean oil (dessert essence) because it was all i was using as a moisturizer and I think it had been clogging pores (not certain, could just have been life) so i’m hesitant to bring a new face oil into rotation. i do love the herbivore brand, appreciate knowing face oil can be used and that it helps!

During the day I like something thats hydrating and glowy, something that will seal in moisture but also play well under makeup. I switch that oil the most. For the evening I really wanted something that was also like another treatment. I was actually recommended the Lapis when I was going through a particularly bad breakout and noticed such an improvement with it that I haven't been able to step away haha.

Thanks for sharing!! I'm so intrigued by the lapis oil from the color alone honestly lol. But good to know it helped with breakouts, I need some of that rn ugh 😭

Oh I know it. I will say that its definitely on the pricey side of skincare, especially for an oil, BUT it lasts forever and like I said I really do see such a difference.

I agree with the previous posters - invest in a good serum! niacinamide will help with brightening your skin :)

Try adding a hydrating serum! Hado labo or the ordinary Hylauronic acid! If will def help w hydration.

just looked up the Moon Juice Acid Potion – I think the combo of AHA and BHA should work well for you for exfoliation! have you considered adding a niacinamide or hyaluronic acid to your routine? I think either would help you tremendously. The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% is well loved around here!!

Hi Meghan! My two cents: I'd swap out the Ole henriksen cleanser for a more gentle one and change up the ultra repair cream for something lighter, like a gel cream! lemme know if you want any specific product recs :D

just chiming in here - the purito cleanser i'm using (Purito Defense Barrier Ph Cleanser) is awesome and super gentle. Krave Beauty Matcha Hemp cleanser is also great.
