Feels slimey at first but dries down nicely and it helps with uneven skin tone and discoloration! I usually let this sink in while I brush my teeth then finish with the rest.
I've noticed the biggest difference probably in my pore size and fine lines. I don't have very sensitive skin and I'm oily, so I haven't really had any negative side effects but I've heard of it drying out some people. If you're interested in getting started, I would definitely recommend a lower percentage. I know that The Ordinary has one that I think is .5% or 1%. And be careful not to mix it with any acids like BHAs or AHAs, just do them on alternative nights. =)
Thanks for your thoughts 🙂 so good to hear you saw results with fine lines. I need some of that! Think I saw a good review of the .5% serum here so I'll probably go for that one before this one. Excited to introduce retinol in my skincare routine.
Do you use the TO retinoid every night? And did your skin freak out in the beginning when you first introduced it? I'm also interested but kind of intimidated.
I did use it every day initially but I'm using it only every other day right now cause I'm alternating days with my salicylic acid toner. I have not had any adverse effects but I don't have very sensitive skin and I also make sure to moisturize a lot when I use it. And of course always use SPF! =)
