STEP
1
Cleanser
pond's lip & eye make-up remover
I apply this to a cotton pad and press against my eyes for 10 seconds each to gently remove my eye make-up. It's easy for wrinkles to form here so gentle touch is truly key!
STEP
2
Oil Cleanser
manyo factory pure cleansing oil
I use 3~4 pumps of this, warm it up in my hands, and gentle spread all over my face.
STEP
3
Cleanser
zeroid foaming cleanser
I like this cleanser a lot because it comes out foamy and cloudy, which is easy to apply on my face. It contains ceramides with no irritating ingredients, so this is a super gentle option.
Personally, I have not been applying any toners because I believe it's an unnecessary step with more potential for irritation in my skin care. At night, I like to apply Vitamin C serums to combat free radicals that happen during the day. This is a particularly great one when I'm feeling sensitive. It contains a type of vitamin C called sodium ascorbyl phophate which is not as acidic (has a higher pH level) as other types, so it's better for those who are more sensitive.
STEP
5
Serum
skinceuticals ce ferulic® with 15% l-ascorbic acid
This is another type of Vitamin C that I like. It contains L-Ascorbic Acid, which is effective but has a lower pH level (to maintain its effectiveness), so it can be potentially more irritating for some.
STEP
6
Treatment
tretinoin treatment 0.01%, 0.025%
After, I apply Vitamin A (tretinoin) – in either of these strengths, depending on how my skin feels that day. When my skin feels more sensitive, I go for the weaker prescription (0.01%), and when it feels good, I apply the (0.025%). Tretionoin is a prescription strength Vit A so need to get it prescribed by a dermatologist. I'll be applying these until the day I die. :)
STEP
7
Moisturizer
aestra aestra cream
I mix a pea-sized of the tretinoin treatment with this cream and apply all over my face. if you mix the tret with a cream, you can reduce the irritation. This is a moisturizer that I have from my hospital that is incredibly hydrating – you can only get it at Korean dermatologist office!
STEP
8
Face Oil
life-flo pure rosehip seed oil
I bought this from iHerb. For those of you who are acne-prone like me, you should look for an oil that has more linoleic acid and low amounts of oleic acid, and rosehip oil fits perfectly into that description. But just a warning, it doesn't smell so good!
STEP
9
Moisturizer
fresh sugar hydrating lip balm
I LOVE this lip balm! I apply it right before I go to bed. It's incredibly hydrating and a must-have if your lips tend to crack or peel.
