Omg there's so much room to upgrade yaaa!! You should get a gentle cleanser, hydrating toner, some sort of exfoliator (as mentioned below), and a better moisturizer. π Hydrating toner: try the Laneige in my routine, it's srsly the best.
Nice and simple π I would recommend adding an acid (chemical exfoliant) and perhaps a gel moisturizer.. I like a sebamed gel moisturizer. Also do you use sunscreen?
Hm, I see that the Aveeno scrub still contains small exfoliating beads, which can irritate your skin causing tears (also, it's not great for the environment). Instead of using a physical exfoliating scrub, why not try using a chemical exfoliant that helps you clear your skin? I would recommend trying the Paula's Choice BHA exfoliator, it's in my routine. It's helped me clear out my acne.
Thanks for the reco - I'll give it a try! Glad to hear that it's helped with your acne. Is BHA better than AHA in your opinion? (saw a lot of versions for both when I searched)

BHA is better for your skin if you're dealing with acne issues bc it goes beyond the surface of your skin to help clear out impurities. AHA is more for treating the surface of your skin -- think hyperpigmentation, skin tone, etc. I think if you're looking to clear out your acne, BHA is the primary exfoliant you should look into!
yeah, I'd look into incorporating a BHA chemical exfoliant! Paula's Choice has a good one: https://www.paulaschoice.com/skin-perfecting-2pct-bha-liquid-exfoliant/201.html
Yup π¬ I used to travel a ton for work, so I never really got into a routine even with this stuff I have at home (since they werenβt travel-sized products/would get taken away at airports).
And yup, I feel like Iβve been dealing with acne for as long as I can remember. Would greatly appreciate any recommendations to level up my routine!
