  • The Ordinary-Mandelic Acid 10% + Ha
    What I liked
It has a very attractive price point, coming in at a little under $7. I personally had more success with treating texture and hyperpigmentation on my back versus my face. I still consider it a win, though! So definitely an effective leave on body treatment if you also didn’t see results on the face. I’ve had zero irritation with this product.
    What I disliked
Even though Mandelic acid has a low molecular weight and is supposed to be gentle, there are going to be a lot of beginners reaching for this...suggesting every day usage is irresponsible to me. They should encourage people to start at 1-2x weekly and slowly build up to 3-4x weekly. Plus, maybe some extra details about what it shouldn’t be partnered with to avoid irritation.
    Special Tips
Don’t go balls to the walls with this. You should ease into any AHA, BHA, or retinol to avoid disrupting your barrier function.
