Oil Cleanser
generic oil cleanser
I use coconut oil to take my make-up off. It's so easy, and I can pick it up anywhere.
After the coconut oil, which I wipe off with a cloth, I use this cleanser and cleanse my face. I used to try more exotic cleansers but my this one does the job well.

Treatment
differin gel
I buy this from my local Target. It was recommended by my dermatologist as a milder treatment to treat my acne. I dab a thin layer over my acne and trouble spots on my skin with a Q-tip.
Yes, I would recommend it wholeheartedly! It's really, really helped with my acne.
As you can see, I use it straight after cleansing, as its most effective on bare skin. I wait 20 mins before putting anything else on my face. When I first started using it there was a bit of a purging period (seemingly more breakouts, more cystic acne) but after a few weeks, I saw my acne really start to clear up. I think it's pretty potent stuff & a bit drying so you want to make sure you moisturize WELL after, hence my cerave PM + rosehip oil combo after.
Hope that helps :)
Whoa, I've never heard of using straight coconut oil as oil cleanser but find it super intriguing! Does it actually take all your makeup/sunscreen/etc off?
yes! i use an eye make-up remover when i have lots of mascara/eye shadow on before this step. i think the key is not to spend too much time rubbing the coconut oil on your face. i usually spend about a minute massaging it over my skin and then wipe it off with a damp cloth.
