This toner is like a goldilocks for combination skin as it's not too harsh, but not too gentle. I love the calming effect of the Calendula extract and the smell reminds me of chamomile tea with honey.

Serum
spf rx dual c + e + f antioxidant power serum
This is a recent add & has been a game-changer for me. The Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate with the Vitamin E and Ferulic Acid provides a stable Vitamin C while serving as an antioxidant. Win-win!

Would love to see nighttime routine! LOVE your instagram page and reviews of products. Y’all, if you like this routine you should follow Jackie at @skincare.geek ❤️
💯 I commend you for having the discipline and patience to apply all these products! I can barely get myself to wake up and get my children to school in the morning, haha. 😂
I use the first one daily, then the second one is every-other-day after the first (double cleanse) since I have acne-prone skin but I focus the second one on my jawline & chin since that's where I break out most!
Thanks for this daytime routine! Super interesting products I'm learning about, especially the sunscreen and vitamin c serum. Would you be open to sharing your PM routine as well?
Coola has both scented and unscented options and the ones I use are scented but I don't believe they add any harsh chemicals for "fragrance" since my skin is very sensitive to that and it's an organic formula. For the finish, since my combo skin on the dryer side, I don't have any issues with it pilling/balling up as it soaks in nicely. They do have other finishes like cremes, matte, and oils as well if that is a concern for you. :-)
Let's just say I'm on my 3rd jar :-) I did two trials to test how it reacted to my hormonal/cystic acne (the true test) and both times it calmed my skin and sped up the healing process. You can see the before & after photos on my instagram @skincare.geek as well! It's just a really nice feeling and natural smelling moisturizer.
I'm intrigued by the serum – is it a vitamin C serum? How does this compare to other vit c serums you've tried out?
Also... did you upload your night-time routine, because I'd be very interested in seeing it.
Yes, it's a Vit C serum and I love it--I'm not sure what the concentration % is but the Vit C is listed 3rd in the Ingred list and my sensitive skin is happy. I have tried another Vit C serum from an Amazon seller, but I learned it wasn't the same quality as it had oxidized (turned orange) within a few days.
I will definitely upload my night-time routine soon :-) thank you thank you
Amazon can be such a black hole when it comes to skincare! My friend was sent a fake product -- and I vowed never to use Amazon for skincare purchases again. Ugh.
I'll be waiting for your night time routine. :)
LOVE this routine. Can you speak more to the CBD moisturizer? How has it helped your combo skin? I'm interested in CBD skincare but afraid they'll just break me out...🤨
Thank you! I really like the Fetish moisturizer to calm the inflammation when I do have breakouts and I have seen that topical CBD, in general, has been proven to help with psoriasis and eczema as well. For breakouts, I depend on salicylic acid and sometimes benzoyl peroxide to fight it but this moisturizer definitely helps in that healing process and doesn't cause the acne.
Yes! I normally treat at night using a Benzoyl peroxide or drying lotion so I'll be sure to include spot treatments in my PM routine. Thanks for the thought!
