  • CLINIQUE-Foaming Sonic Facial Soap
    STEP
    1
This works really well with the sonic cleansing brush, creating a nice foam and giving the brush a little bit of slip. However, it does leave that soapy, slightly dry feeling afterward, which my skin can tolerate, but probably won't work for dry skin. Without a brush, it's a fine cleanser, but I wouldn't bother.

aveeno positively radiant 60 second in shower facial
I love this! I only use it every few days, when I wash my hair, but it leaves my skin so soft and smooth. It has a really creamy feeling, but there's just enough exfoliation that my skin feels brand new after I get out of the shower.
  • PEACH & LILY-Glass Skin Refining Serum
    STEP
    3
Lovely serum so far! I don't think my skin could be described as "glass", but it's definitely softer and staying smoother longer.
  • The Ordinary-Caffeine Solution 5% + Egcg
    STEP
    4
No dramatic results, but my undereyes have been looking less blue and plumper.
  • CLINIQUE-Clinique Id™: Moisturizer + Concentrate For Pores & Uneven Texture
    STEP
    5
I'm using the combination in the image, so the Hydrating Jelly and the blue cartridge. I like the Jelly, it leaves my face with a more matte feeling for the day, but it doesn't seem to maintain it's hydration level and my forehead has been getting really shiny at the end of the day. The serum doesn't seem to do anything at all, probably because you get very little of it from the pump. I won't repurchase this whole "system", but I might get the moisturizer on its own.
  • Australian Gold-Botanical Tinted Face Sunscreen Spf 50
    STEP
    6
It's definitely a sunscreen, and it feels like it, so it's not the most "cosmetically elegant". The tint isn't too orange or anything though, so it blends in nicely and I sometimes wear it as my base layer of makeup. It dries to a nice matte texture too, so it looks good on the skin.

I remember seeing so many ads for these ID clinique moisturizer on TV and thought the packaging was really interesting! I'm glad to read a honest review. Don't think I'll be purchasing this, based on your review.

It's not a bad idea in theory, but the amount of serum people use really varies, so the results are going to be different for everyone. While I think this did work a little bit, it's not enough that I can justify buying the whole contraption, plus sometimes I want to use the moisturizer and not the serum or vise versa. It's probably a great product for someone who's into a low effort routine, but I enjoy the sensation of skin care too much for this to work for me.

Yup, I agree! It sounds like a lovely idea in theory but sometimes you just want the whole experience. Which moisturizer are you thinking of getting next?

I might buy just the hydration jelly this time, but I also have my eye on the CosRx birch moisturizer. We'll see what's available.

Do you think the Peach and Lily is worth it? I've been curious but not sure if I want to shell out compared to The Ordinary serums.

I think it's worth it since I'm only using this and the caffeine serum, and I think the combination of ingredients is really working for me and it is something I'm not going to get from any of the Ordinary. It is also slightly larger than most other serums, 1.35 oz as opposed to just 1, so the price/oz is closer to 30$, which is still a lot, but it's easier to swallow.

Yeah that makes sense! Thank you for the detailed info 😊

Oh the Aveeno product sounds so nice. I love the idea of an in-shower facial. 😍 Does it have physical exfoliation?

Yup! It has these little grainy beads that are just enough for me to feel like my face has had a good scrubbing.

Aveeno products are so underrated! LOVE their body lotions.
