  • Biore-Charcoal Acne Clearing Cleanser
    STEP
    1
Use this at night as my cleanser. Chose this as oppose to the other version because of the salicylic acid. At this point, I don't really know if it helps or hurts my skin. I've been using it for so long, I'm just in the habit of buying it when the bottle runs out.
  • L'Oreal Paris-Pure Clay Detox Wash
    STEP
    2
After I figured out that I'm supposed to lather this product up into a good foam, I haven't looked back. I use this as my morning cleanser. My face feels extremely fresh afterwards.
  • Bioré-Witch Hazel Toner
    STEP
    4
I recently gave in to adding a toner to my routine. My face feels hydrated immediately after use, but I can feel alcohol (also contains salicylic acid) in this toner stripping it dry later on, which causes a dilemma: it helps me get rid of that oil feeling on my face, but I know it also causes more oil production after 2 hours. Am on the lookout for a new toner.

I'd also say ditch the witch hazel toner. I don't think it's doing much good for your skin 🙄 there's better toners out there for sure!

The witch hazel toner is def stripping :( you should use a hydrating toner instead! SoonJung has a good gentle one :)

The Biore cleanser has fragrance, SLS and a few irritating ingredients – I would recommend you switch to a gentler cleanser with salicylic acid!
