  • Youth To The People-Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser
    STEP
    1
This cleanser is perfect for my often sensitive skin: very mild and effective at the same time. There is really no dirt left on the skin.
  • Instytutum-Resurfacing Glow Toner
    STEP
    2
    instytutum resurfacing glow toner
Because of my acne scars, I use this mild toner with glycolic acid and niacinamide. It refines my skin texture and makes a natural glow.
  • Instytutum-Anti-Wrinkle Brightening C-Erum
    STEP
    3
    instytutum anti-wrinkle brightening c-erum
Every skin care routine needs a good vitamin C product! It took me a long time to get this serum recommended. Now I don't want to miss it anymore! It makes the skin tone even and stimulates collagen formation.
  • Instytutum-Powerful Retin Oil
    STEP
    4
    instytutum powerful retin oil
For scars, a real power oil with bakuchiol and an ester of retinoic acid. I only need one drop per cheek and forehead.
  • Clinique -Superdefense SPF 40
    STEP
    5
    clinique superdefense spf 40
My current favorite moisturizer. Has many good antioxidants and a high SPF. Sun protection is a must for me on every single day. Because it is the best way to prevent sun damage, wrinkles and skin aging.
  • Clinique-Clinique Id Dramatically Different Moisturizing BB-gel
    STEP
    6
The last step in my skin care routine gives me a hint of natural color and smoothes out irregular spots.

Lovely! Interesting to see what you use in Germany :) out of curiosity, are there any German brands that you are fond of?

Yes, there are a few brands from Germany that I like :) Dermaviduals (only available through beauticians), Barbor and Dr. Hauschka are highly recommended.

Thanks for sharing! I often forget Clinique has great products and overlook their offerings for newer, *shinier* products. But perhaps it's time that I go back and take another look.

How does this vit c serum compare to others that you've tried?? I'm debating whether I want to splurge on vit c or not πŸ˜”

In addition to vitamin C, the Instytutum serum also has nourishing ingredients such as niacinamides. Compared to products from The Ordinary or The Inkey List, I have absolutely no burning sensation on the skin. But yes, instytutum is not cheap. Maybe Paula's Choice is an alternative for you?

They have YTTP in Germany? So cool! Love your routine, although I must say you are quite daring to wear retinol during the day :)

Yes, you can buy YTTP in several online shops in Germany ;) And the Instytutum Retin Oil has no Retinol in it but bakuchiol and hydroxypinacolone retinoate - both you can use also AM.

Love! Instytutum is a brand I never heard of before, do you recommend? How did you find out about it?

I became aware of the brand through Instagram. And yes, I highly recommend them products! However, they are also a bit expensive, I always order when there are good offers.

Whoooa Powerful Retin Oil sounds... powerful. Do you put this on in the morning? Also, can we talk about the packaging for the clinique gel. I love it!

Yes, I also use it in the morning because it contains more tolerable forms of retinoids. Sun protection is therefore even more important.
