  • Sephora Collection-Supreme Cleansing Oil
    STEP
    1
I used to purchase more expensive oil cleansers, but I tried the Sephora collection version and was pleasantly surprised. It's really viscose and easy to use. One pump does my entire face and eye makeup. This has a very light oil type fragrance and does an amazing job at removing makeup without leaving me feeling greasy after. It's also only like $15!!
  • Belif-Pore Cleaner Bubble Foam
    STEP
    2
I bought this because I heard it helps clear out pores. It's a little bit more of a "workhorse" than a regular cleanser, so I don't think I'd recommend it to anyone with sensitive / dry skin. I tend to get blackheads and whiteheads around my nose/chin and they've disappeared. I also feel like my pores have shrunk? I'm a fan!
  • Botanics-All Bright Cleansing Toner
    STEP
    3
This is an exfoliating toner that contains natural AHAs from the hibiscus plant. I find it really helps with fading my acne scars and making my skin generally feel... softer! I put this on a cotton pad and swipe it all over my face (excluding the eye area). I don't use it everyday, probably once every other day or so. There was a bit of tingling sensation when I first started using this but, it has gone away with regular use.
  • Laneige-Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizer
    STEP
    4
I wait around 10 minutes for the AHA to do its job, then I layer on a hydrating toner. I've seen this one talked about a lot on social media and really liked it concept of a toner/moisturizer hybrid – it got me curious! Now that I've started using it, I really like it. It's a lovely creamy/toner consistency which absorbs into my skin effortlessly.

On days when I don't use the exfoliating toner and ESPECIALLY when I feel like my skin is breaking out, I use this and am a believer!! It contains BOTH glycolic acid (AHA) and salicylic acid (BHA), which I've found really helps with clearing my pores and helping clarify my skin. It has helped get rid of "grainy/rough" texture on my face, small bumps, and has cleared up small acne/pimples from developing around my chin and forehead. It's a bit pricey but I'm willing to splurge when something works.

    good old vaseline
So I use vaseline for the eyes! I heard Serena Williams talk about how she uses vaseline for the eye area, and had to try it out for myself. I love it! It helps lock in moisture and keeps it from getting dry. I don't know if I'd recommend it for dry skin types, but I personally find that my eye area feels hydrated.

I tried a sample of this gel cream and really liked it. I just purchased it last week and have liked the first few times I've used it so far. Gel consistency moisturizers work better for me – I'll apply this everywhere, and then apply vaseline in areas of my face I want more "richnes" – like around my mouth, etc.

When Tyra Banks had her talk show, she told everyone that she uses Vaseline under her eyes too! I've been using it as well and feel it definitely locks in the moisture!

Vaseline is a lifesaver! I use it on my eyebrows and they are definitely looking fuller. I haven't tried using it as an eye cream though, but I definitely will!
