I wanted to love it but it made me break out

Emerald Oil has been a savior for my dry winter skin. I love the texture and how it leaves my skin feeling deeply hydrated and smooth without any oiliness or heaviness. Squalane and Hemp Seed appear to be the main ingredients and it seems like they are a great match for my skin which is picky and tends to break out from other oils. Emerald does contain fractionated coconut oil which seems to work well for me too - I think some people get it confused with virgin coconut which does have a high comedogenic rating but the fractionated is much lighter and does not clog my pores. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for lightweight moisture and to try hemp. Thanks for another great product Herbivore!

Skin Savior

I ordered this from Herbivore website and I couldn’t be happier with my results. This oil is just the right amount of hydration without being greasy, sticky, or pore clogging. Not sure if it’s just a mind thing, but knowing it had the Cannabis Sativa hemp seed ingredients, I felt a sense of calming after I applied this. It absorbed well into my skin, and worked well with my other skincare products. Although, it’s a pretty emerald color, it goes on clear and it has a very light subtle fresh scent, nothing noticeable or overwhelming.
