Banana Bright Eye Crème

I really don’t know what the rave is about this eye cream. I have tried literally everything on the market. I have genetically dark circles. This eye cream did absolutely nothing. But then again, nothing has worked for me. Cucumbers and coconut oil is the only thing that gives me a difference. If you have genetically dark circles, this won’t do anything

Such a nice eye cream! When I first heard about it I felt it had a lot to live up to considering it claims it is brightening, age-defying, and hydrating which isn't a combination you see very often. I find it's usually one of the three... not all. I've been on the hunt for the Holy Grail of eye creams (that don't cost an outrageous amount) for probably the past 2 years. A lot of stuff that I've tried really hasn't made a difference, but then I found this! I've only used it a few times now (as I've only just got it), but it absolutely brightens and hydrates and instantly the fine lines that I have under my eyes look less visible! I haven't tried makeup over top of it yet and it does state that it creates a good base for concealer which I don't normally wear because I find it looks too cakey on me, but I'm definitely going to give it a try now and see if it makes a difference! I I have used a lot of their truth line and I have always loved the products, and this one is no exception! Instantly I looked less tired and brighter. I'd say 4 1/2 stars if I could because it is a little thicker than I expected it to be but it works into the skin quite easily and sinks in fast, and it doesn't leave a tacky residue like some eye creams do. I will definitely repurchase this when I finish this tub, I think I've finally found my Holy grail!

Found my Eye Cream Holy Grail! FINALLY!

I love ole henriksen products and this one is no exception. Although it goes on thicker and stickier than I anticipated, I still love this eyecream. The stickiness aspect works wonders when it’s applied before concealer. I’m not sure that it “brightens” but it definitely makes my concealer wear last throughout the day. 
A con: I’m not a fan of the underlying smell this product has. It’s kind of musky. I’m disappointed that it doesn’t smell like bananas.
